Atelier
Inspired by French modernist furniture of the 1930s, Atelier is designed by Michael Vanderbyl with clean lines and modern proportions for today's interiors. Considered as an ensemble of timeless pieces comprising seating, sideboards, tables and cabinets designed to work collectively. The collection is handcrafted in figured walnut, with each piece enhanced by elegant details like button-backed upholstery, scalloped drawer fronts and stainless steel sabot feet.
Bolier Classics
Inspired by the classics of fine European furniture, Bolier Classics is a collection of exquisitely made pieces designed by John Black, Peter Hunter and Michael Kirkpatrick with more lightness and flair than their traditional counterparts. Elegant seating options include an upholstered bench built on a hardwood frame with a rich mahogany finish and bronze ferrules. Occasional pieces include a demilune cabinet crafted of Macassar ebony with burnished bronze details to accent the hand-rubbed finish. A chic Parisian-inspired spot table with a Marquina marble top and polished stainless legs pairs perfectly with an armchair or sits stylishly bedside. Bolier Classics also includes a selection of handcrafted dining chairs with classical roots.
Bolier Occasionals
Elegant lines. Fine materials. Superb workmanship. Designed by John Black and Michael Kirkpatrick, each piece in the occasional collection bears the imprint of Bolier's commitment to the highest quality of furniture manufacture. Fine materials are worked with skillful precision and used to stunning effect on each hand-finished table and cabinet: a dramatic cocktail table with antique silver gilt base and marble top; a simple side stool with a flawless lacquer finish; a handsome drum table sheathed in Santos rosewood veneer hand-rubbed to enhance the nuances of color and figure. A tribute to craft and materials in a range of styles, Bolier Occasionals add distinction to contemporary or traditional surroundings.
Bolier Upholstery
Bolier upholstered furniture gives traditional or contemporary rooms a sense of timeless elegance and luxury. Made to provide lasting beauty and comfort, each piece is manufactured using traditional craft techniques and finished in superior materials. The upmost care and attention is taken to every detail; hand-cut fabrics, flawless stitches and seams, precise tufting and matched edges. Complete custom capabilities allow Bolier upholstered furniture to be tailored to your exact requirements.
Domicile
Designed by Michael Vanderbyl, Domicile blends rich aesthetic influences into a contemporary collection that allows for striking compositions of silhouettes and contrasting materials. Scaled and styled for today's interiors, Domicile answers our innate desire for beauty. The Crescent Chair pays homage to Parisian modernist Jean Michel Frank with a wide seat and wing-like back built of quartered cerused oak that highlights texture. While the striking cocktail table pairs Carrara marble with polished stainless steel, the unique Arch coffee table is shaped in opulent Macassar ebony veneer.
Kata
Kata: from the Japanese word for form. True to the spirit of the refined Japanese aesthetic, designer John Black pairs purist lines with rich materials to create a collection that brings warmth, intimacy and grace to the home. Using veneer in either a brown red or dark espresso color with accent finishes of black lacquer and gold gilt, Kata provides the feel of Asian antiques with a more modern feel.
Kinkou
Created by interior and furnishings designer Jiun Ho, the Kinkou collection reflects the designer's minimalist aesthetic and global inspirations, including the refined forms of Asia. As suggested by the name Kinkou, means 'balance' in Japanese, each piece in the collection is poised between edge and curve with modern details and traditional shapes. The Kinkou collection is distinguished by the use of traditional Asian finishing techniques: lacquered wood wrapped in natural linen, cerused surfaces and Chinese deep red lacquer. Signature hardware is finished in burnished shades of bronze and gold. Each piece in the collection combines a bold profile with scaled-back dimensions appropriate for today's home.
Live+Work+Play
Designed by San Francisco-based Brian Graham, Live Work & Play is a response to the need for a simple, functional storage system that bridges the gap between inexpensive modular commodities and bespoke designer pieces. Live Work & Play essentially creates a secondary level of architecture within an interior space. Crafted from a combination of beautiful woods, the entire collection is imbued with warmth and richness for the modern home. It's a wonderfully unassuming but appropriate solution for the modern lifestyle. The idea arose out of a need for greater functionality in the home without sacrificing the elegance of the living space. The design of the collection is purposefully understated, yet offers a number of thoughtfully considered details.
Modern Luxury
The Modern Luxury collection, designed by Richard Mishaan, one of New York's leading designers, is a sophisticated collection of contemporary furniture that represents the appreciation for traditional forms. Diverse in style and inspiration, each distinctive silhouette presents a fresh, modern look relevant to current lifestyles. The collection includes an elegant and eclectic selection of upholstered seating, along with a series of unique occasional tables and cabinets. Modern Luxury showcases the limitless beauty of materials in the hands of a talented designer and highly skilled craftspeople.
Modern Metropolis
A mixture of clean, modern forms has been applied with a pallet of rich dark finishes to create Modern Metropolis. This collection is carefully crafted out of walnut and eucalyptus veneers, along with selective use of stainless steel accents giving each piece a glamorous and standalone presence. Michael Kirkpatrick is known for his unwavering attention to detail and he starts his design process by carefully contemplating how the materials chosen, form and function of the piece will work with one another, and how they'll define the space they are used in.
Objets
Objets is the French word for 'objects' which serves as the central reference point for Michael Kirkpatrick's collection. Classical and modern traditions are reinterpreted to create a fresh contemporary style. Using a palette of materials including dark oak veneers, honed travertine stone, full grain leather and hand etched Bronze metal, Michael's designs demonstrate aesthetic refinement. Each piece is elegantly simple, multifunctional in design, and suited to blend with a variety of architectural styles.
Rosenau
Designed by Michael Vanderbyl and inspired by the legacy of Biedermeier furniture, the Rosenau collection is created from hand-selected swirl mahogany veneers with inlay of Sapele and contrasting stainless steel details. Placing emphasis on line, proportion and detail, the Rosenau collection brings classic shapes and motifs to life using traditional construction and finishing techniques. The Rosenau collection blends sophistication and elegance; from the delicate Greek key table, the curves of the Thomas writing desk and the intricate shape of the Estate chair.
