The original base came defective

the base of the original television broke in half and caused the fall of the television, that after 4 months of use, the technical support practically mocked me, one of them left me waiting 40 minutes without speaking ..... no it is fair that i lose an 85 "tv because the factory base came defective samsung does not want to recognize that defect and i was left without a tv....the tv did not drop to me, the base broke and the tv fell to the floor , samsung should repair the damage since it may also have fallen to my 1 year old son.

graphic quality is great. reason for 3 stars because not enough hdmi plugs, hdmi 2(arc) does not work, and processor feels slower than my previous 75" lg. first week or two it was working, then all of a sudden it just stopped. from what i can tell from browsing thru the set up for sound system, it saying that my model doesnt exist when it originally did found it when i first got the tv. did a factory reset and it works again, then repeat same thing three times and now does not work at all nomore and i have to use optical now.

excellent picture in bright 4k video and video gaming. dark scenes are hard to see unless the room is dark. that is the biggest problem i have with it. could use another hdmi port. the size for the price makes up for its short comings. i won't pay more than $2000 just for a brighter picture in the higher end models, the human eye can't distinguish 4k from 1080p and 8k on televisions up to 50". and i'm sure not between 4k and 8k in tv's upto 65. just my opinions.

when i first purchased tv i was able to use with alexa app but the last couple months tv fails to respond to many options including volume control. i am very dissapionted on samsung app developers it seems they make updates without trying on each system that eventually re der your tv useless for the very things you purchased it for. this is my third sansung tv and all worked geet out of the box but shortky after started lising features withh every samsung app uodate

while the tv image is sharp and clear. i have to reset network settings every day to use the tv the way its designed. its annoying and i wouldn't recommend it to anyone. its 2021 the whole world runs on wifi the tv shouldn't need reset every time you turn it on. its garbage.

Our TV is by far the best we've ever owned. The picture is easily as sharp as anything I've seen in a theater. Excellent sound (though I imagine the sound bar would increase the enjoyment of the set). Football is awesome!

Overall putting it together was straight forward and easy. Packaging was great and there was no damage to any parts. The auto game mode works great and all the smart features and apps work flawlessly. I have not had a chance to set up with Alexa but will be trying those features soon. The tv has a great display and the images are truly sharp and clear. The remote it comes with is also ergonomic and simple to use. When turning on the TV, it does lag for a couple of seconds while trying to scroll through the apps, but this is the only negative thing I could say about the product. Getting the 85" was worth it.

We watch a lot of movies, the images are very sharp and breathtaking. We had a 65 inch Samsung for about 8yrs. Wanted something BIGGER, so we decided on this 85inch unit. We are re enjoying movies that have not been watched for awhile. The details are sharp, the action scenes on this size unit causes us to jump, like being right there. The remote fits literally in your hand, there are not a lot of buttons to confuse you. The volume and channel selections are momentary push up\down rocker switches. You can program the remote to work with home theater, cable box, dvd. The apps are easy to access. There is a timer to shut unit off. The settings are easy to get to and setup. Very happy with this unit.

The Samsung tv picture is awesome. Love the 85, it's so big it feels like you're at a movie theater, which is good since all the movie theaters are closed due to the coronavirus pandemic. When in 4K it is awesome. I'm very happy with my purchase. One down fall though, we can't download some certain apps onto the tv such as movies anywhere, the sagebrush app, and other apps that we use to use on the other tv. Other than that it's a great tv.

From day one has been a dream to install and to hook up. Very light weight. Have been watching movies I've seen in the past but to experience them on this 85" television was nothing but sure pleasure, And don't get me started on how much fun it is been to play video games on this huge TV. The apps that come pre loaded on the TV is very cool. The Ambient mode was something I surprised my wife with pictures of the family. Should I say Awesome!! TV has not shown any problems I have just really enjoyed this TV. Plus all the connection ports, that allow me to connect my TV with colored LED backlights. WOW this even gave it a more of a TV experience. All that is missing is my kids to stop hogging the TV. LOVING THIS TV. EVEN IN THE TIME OF THE COVID-19. Has made life a lot better to stay home during this time . Thanks .

Ordered it from Amazon. Shipping was a nightmare. The shipping company, NSD, kept delaying the shipment, then lying about it. Nightmare. The TV took the two people to get it flipped up. Other reviews on the TV said there were issues with the amount of light in the room. Darker the room the better it is. Also, reflections, lights and windows, can sometimes an issue. Overall, I enjoy the TV. The smart features are good and easy to navigate. I need some more time to really get into the settings.

I was a little weary when I bought this because I wasn't sure how great the picture would look but this is absolutely perfect! Perfectly Splendid! The picture is beautiful, I'm a gamer and there is no lag between any console I throw at this beast of a tele. Samsung you've done it again, bravo!!

This tv is 85 inches less expensive than my old 60 inch and has a better picture quality plus it's huge!!!! Love it!!!!
