This is the best refrigerator we ever bought! Ok, it is the first one we ever bought - the house came with a larger GE built in 2010, repaired once under the home warranty three years ago, worked fine until the auto defrost failed and the refrigerator stopped cooling in the middle of TX heat waves. Manual defrost got it working but repair costs warranted replacement. So far so good as we adjust to the new, smaller model. We do wish it came with better and more freezer shelves - ice packs stick to the glass shelf and with TX heat we use a lot of ice packs to keep pets cool so we are using padded envelopes to keep the packs from freezing together. Wire shelves like the GE might be better.Review title reflects research indicating Frigidaire is part of the Swedish company Electrolux and this model made in Thailand, which is also a US treaty ally.

Since I have a limited space for any appliances I didn't have much hope finding a good fridge. What a great surprise when the retailer showed me this one. It is perfect in size & has a great appearance. For a smaller appliance the freezer is very roomy, bottom has plenty of space & the interior is very bright. I had been looking for a used, black refrigerator for our garage, and I could not find one, so I ended up having to buy new. I'm so glad I did! This fridge is perfect for a garage. It's a little smaller than your average fridge, which is is why I think it's perfect. I don't need a full size fridge for that. We just use it for drinks when were outside on the patio and in the pool. It's got a great, sleek look and enough shelves for extra storage when I run out of room in the house. Also, I have heard, that if you plan on using your fridge in the garage it has to be a Frigidaire, because it's rated (or recommended) for a garage all year round.

My only complaint would be the door shelf can't be adjusted so the bottom oneis hard to get to under the shelf that holds gallon jugs. Other than thatIt's awesome. Defective! Everything froze in fridge

I'm returning it due to what may be a defect. I just got this delivered yesterday. I set the fridge (and freezer) temperature right in the middle where it states "Recommended". This morning, everything in the fridge was frozen. I could have exchanged for another one of the same model, but I'm not happy about a few other things: 1) Noise - It makes a buzzing noise at all time, 2) It heats on the outside - I've never had a fridge that heats up, and 3) Both the fridge and the freezer doors don't close on their own once opened - I don't know what is in the way but both doors require to be pushed closed. I've had a Frigidaire in the past but maybe the quality has gone down. The freezer seems to work fine.

The home I moved into had a huge very inefficient refrigerator and after two years I thought it was a good time to purchase a smaller unit that was energy efficient! My frig was on sale in a town within 35 miles of me so I decided to go and take a look. It is black and it has a full width crisper drawer (a must). Even though it is smaller it has a lot of room inside both the freezer and frig. I feel good that I am saving on my electric bill now! Very happy with my choice

Works Great in our RV

We replaced our original RV refrigerator with this Frigidaire. The dimensions were almost the same with the exception of the width. The width was 6" narrower, but didn't deter the installation. Installation into the RV was easy peasy. The fridge fit easily through the doorway of the RV. The new fridge will keep under 40 degrees (Fridge) without power. We have traveled about 1800 miles so far with the new unit.
